Greenforest Recreational Program

 

Greenforest's Sports Recreation Ministry has revealed there is an untapped and under serviced soccer interest in the surrounding communities. As a result, we hope Greenforest ministry takes advantage of this unique growing passion, to foster our community outreach, by incorporating a next level soccer program offered through Nexus FC. Greenforest, partnering with Nexus FC Professional Youth Soccer Academy with W9 unique training methodologies, will help to launch a state of the art soccer program led by Greenforest member Warren Ukah, the thirteen- year professional soccer player (Technical Director), Nexus FC Youth Professional Soccer Academy cofounders, Aneaka Ukah (President) and Duane Samuels (Director Of Coaching) holder of a United States Soccer Federation National “C”license.

 

 

Greenforest's Sports Soccer Recreation Overview:

 

  • Youth ages 3-18 (U4 Coed Mini League, U5-U19 League)
  • NO tryouts and NO skill level requirements!!
  • Each U5-U19 team requires a volunteer parent coach, however, we provide a professional trainer who works with each age group once a week.
  • Practices are held during the week, and games are played on weekends only.
  • Seasons offered - fall and spring including soccer camps.
  • Registration for the fall season opens in May, and registration for the spring season opens in November.

  • Please note the following information regarding the Recreational Program Age Groups:
  • U10 Age Group includes U9
  • U12 Age Group includes U11
  • U14 Age Group includes U13
  • U16 Age Group includes U15
  • U19 Age Group includes U17 and U18
    • U4 Coed Mini League
    • No set teams
    • Central trainers
  • (6) 45-minute clinics serving as practices/games
  • Parents serve as assistant trainers
  • Registration for the fall season opens in May, and registration for the spring season opens in November.
  • Participation Fee: U4 $85/season
  • : U4 and Above $135/season – includes uniform
